The family of Haberdashers’ Monmouth Schools is proud of its links with the Armed Forces. A high proportion of boarders at both Monmouth School and Haberdashers’ Monmouth School for Girls are from Service Families, and a large number of pupils go into careers in the Forces.
The Haberdashers’ Company is trustee for the Schools, providing a generous endowment fund which allows the Schools to provide outstanding facilities coupled with competitive fees and a range of bursaries, scholarships and assisted places. Service Families in receipt of the boarding schools allowance are guaranteed to pay just 10% of the fees, approximately £630 per term.
Committed to supporting the Armed Forces, the Haberdashers’ Company is affiliated with The Princess of Wales’s Royal Regiment, maintaining the links with the City of London, established by the Buffs, one of the Regiment’s forebears. The Haberdashers’ Company is also affiliated with the following regiments: HMS St. Albans; No. 13 Squadron; F Company, 7th Battalion The Rifles; The Frimley & Camberley Cadet Corps; 1475 (Dulwich) Squadron Air Training Corps.
