Graduated from the University of Natal with a BSc and a University Education Diploma. Taught in a very diverse range of schools in South Africa. Headmistress of Epworth, an independent Methodist school in Pietermariztburg. Left SA in 1999 to take up the headship of Sherborne School for Girls which proved an interesting challenge. Retired in the summer of 2006. Married to Peter who entered ministry in the Church of England in his early forties. Enjoys music, singing and travelling.  Kept busy by life in the parish and by 4 children and 9 grandchildren. Appointed 2006.
