Educated Sherborne, Oxford and Cambridge (PGCE). Formerly taught geography at Queen Anne’s, Caversham, and Redland High School, Bristol. Lives near Monmouth and helps to run an agricultural estate with her husband. Three grown up children, daughter having been at HMSG. Chairman Jones Almshouses Committee. Dingestow Community Councillor. Appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Gwent in 2006. Other committees: Gwent Wildlife Trust, Dingestow Village Hall, Nelson Garden Restoration, Usk Rural Life Museum. Appointed 1991.
