Educated Wellington College, Berkshire. Widowed with three grown up daughters. Master of Haberdashers’ Company 2003/04. Former governor of Haberdashers’ Aske’s Hatcham College and Haberdashers’ Aske’s Schools, Elstree. FCA and retired investment banker at Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Bank.  Member of DB London art committee for six years.  Lives in Chelsea and the New Forest. Hobbies: racing, sailing, travelling, gardening, theatre, opera, ballet and art galleries. Appointed 2005.
