Prof Stephen Denyer

Cardiff University’s representative governor. Graduate of Nottingham University with a degree in pharmacy and a PhD in pharmaceutical microbiology. Professor of Pharmacy and former Head of the Welsh School of Pharmacy, now Deputy Pro-Vice Chancellor with responsibility for education and students.

He has contributed to the work of a number of national bodies as expert adviser, including: the Royal Pharmaceutical Society; the Health Protection Agency; the Department of Health; the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency; and the British Pharmacopoeia Commission. Fellow of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and the Higher Education Agency. Living in a village just outside Chepstow, he is married with two daughters and two grand-children.
